Pur Pur wheat is a very ancient type of wheat only recently rediscovered. It is ideal for functional and future-oriented feeding. Its origins probably date back to Africa in an area that today is called Ethiopia. In 1872, it was found near the Red Sea where its growth is very rare. At the end of 1990, it was finally rediscovered by Europeans and this time it was found istead in South America. Thanks to its anthocyanin content -which is 10 times higher than normal wheat, it has returned to commercial interest. Thanks to the presence of free radicals, it can also prevent inflammatory processes and carcinogenic alterations.
