Curry is an Indian dish composed by blends of various spices which are prepared, roasted and ground strictly at the moment. The presence of these mixstures on the market is rather recent. Invented by emigrants of Indian origin for trade, curry is generally available in 3 basic version: the sweet curry of Madras, the spicy and the very spicy; the latter is almost unbearable for not accustomed palates. Generally the spices contained in the curries on the market are the following: turmeric (which gives it the color), coriander, pepper, ginger, cumin, nutmeg, tamarind, mustard, fenugreek, caraway, cinnamon, cardamom, onion, chilli.
